An integral part of the Gutami vision
Sustainability can be defined as the objective for us human beings to safely live together, in harmony with other living creatures and with our unique planet, and to do so for a very long period of time.
Gutami Sustainability
Actually wanting, or even needing, to achieve Sustainability is a very natural objective, as it is an inborn characteristic of each of us to survive, to want to live a happy life, in good health, in good relations to each other and nature, and to do so continually.
Although Sustainability is a natural objective, it does not come naturally. To achieve it we have to work hard, creatively and jointly on reaching sustainability goals in the three key areas of our existence: Environment, Society and Economy. And we need to do this in a coherent and balanced way. Therefore working on achieving these objectives is in fact our joint Mission.
Our Contribution
At Gutami we are playing our part by developing and realizing growth in sustainable energy production and usage, both in our home country, The Netherlands, and in many other countries around the World (Africa, Europe, North- and South America). For this we work closely with many types of partners, suppliers and offtakers. As such we contribute significantly to preserving the Environment, strengthening Society and boosting the Economy in these countries.
